The Quiet Moments Where Spirit Meets Us

There is a truth about spirit communication that I’ve witnessed again and again over the years… it manifests softly and quietly. It rarely arrives with noise or drama.

A familiar scent on a breeze or a fond memory that appears gently, so much so you almost miss it.
There is often an expectation of mediumship; to be grand, cinematic or overwhelming. In reality, Spirit speaks to us in the very same way our souls speak to us: quietly, lovingly, patiently.
Maybe you’ve had one of those moments yourself.
You’re washing dishes, or driving, or folding laundry, and suddenly you feel the presence of a loved one you thought you’d lost.
Their energy is soft, but unmistakable... a warmth in your chest, a nudge in your thoughts, a peace you can’t quite explain.
Or a feather appears exactly where you wouldn’t expect one.
A robin comes close and lingers just a little too long.
A song plays — their song — even though you haven’t heard it in years.
A scent passes by that belongs nowhere in the room except in your memory of them.
And then you wonder:
Am I imagining this?
Is this real?
Could this truly be them?
I tell people this all the time, and I’ll tell you too:
Love doesn’t stop.
It doesn’t die.
It simply continues in another form.
The connection isn’t broken, it’s transformed.
Mediumship is not about proving something extraordinary; it’s about noticing something very natural. Our souls recognise each other. They always have. They always will.
Spirit doesn’t try to frighten or overwhelm us. They try to comfort. To steady us. To gently guide us back to remembering that we are never as alone as we feel.
Most of the time, Spirit stands just a whisper away, waiting for a quiet moment when your heart is still enough to feel them.
So if you’ve been sensing signs… trust yourself.
If you’ve been feeling those gentle nudges… trust them.
If you’ve been receiving what feels like little “hellos”… trust those too.
Spirit meets us in the quiet because that’s where we meet ourselves.
You are not imagining it.
You are not reaching.
You are not “making it up.”
And the veil is thinner than you think.
